Social Events

St Mary's Church family organise a number of social events throughout the year from afternoon teas to celebratory meals, from quizzes to music concerts, from day trips out to fun family activities at church... and much more. There's something for everyone and our social events are a great way to get to know each other and feel part of the family. Coffee Mornings - First Saturday of every month

Saturday 22nd September
Card Making Morning in St. George's Room. 10am - 1pm

With Pat and Irene - a relaxed and interactive morning for everyone to have a go at card making with guidance and materials provided. Make for yourself or also help make cards for sale at our Christmas Fair. No experience necessary - just pop along.  A free event.

Friday 5th October
Harvest Supper. 7pm - 9pm

Our annual shared supper in church followed by a talk about the work of a Christian charity, People Against Poverty, reaching the street children of Romania, bringing hope and seeing lives and families transformed. Tickets available in church a few weeks beforehand, or email Rev. Andrew via our contact page.

Saturday 10th November
Afternoon Tea with live music from a Saxophone Quartet.  2pm - 4pm

A fun afternoon sharing afternoon tea in the company of talent musicians including our own Helena.

Saturday 1st December
Christmas Gift Fair.  10am - 1pm.

Come and visit our Christmas Fair with stalls, games, refreshments, crafts, presents and ideas for Christmas. With additional activities for children.  A free event.
